1950 Established as Cosmopolitan Co., Ltd.
1952 Begins supplying in-flight meals to British Overseas Airways
(now British Airways) at Tokyo International Airport (Haneda)
1956 Begins serving Hong Kong Airways (now Cathay Pacific)
1961 Changes name to Cosmo Enterprise Co., Ltd.
1972 Builds kitchen and bakery at future site of New Tokyo International Airport
(now Narita International Airport)
1973 Begins serving Singapore Airlines
1978 Builds office building at Narita and relocates headquarters there to coincide with opening of new airport
1983 Begins serving Finnair
1988 Opens operations building at New Tokyo International Airport (Narita)
1990 Opens Taiei Plant adjacent to New Tokyo International Airport
1991 Begins serving Virgin Atlantic Airways
1994 Establishes cleansing-services subsidiary, CCT
1998 Installs frozen foods production line and begins marketing frozen food products
2000 Begins serving American Airlines
2002 Begins serving China Airlines
Opens second building at Taiei Plant
2004 Installs retort foods production line and begins marketing retort food products
2008 Begins serving Airbus 380 superjumbo airliners
